Mindfulness is more than awareness — it's intentional presence. It's choosing to notice what God is doing in the moment, rather than rushing past it.
During Elul, mindfulness helps us:
Psalm 46:10
'Be still, and know that I am God.'
Stillness is not inactivity — it's sacred attentiveness. It's the posture of a heart that waits, watches, and welcomes God's voice.
Today: Practice mindfulness in one area — your speech, your thoughts, your surroundings. Invite God into that space and listen for His whisper.
Prayer:
Lord, slow me down. Help me notice Your presence in the ordinary. Teach me to be mindful of Your movement, Your mercy, and Your message. May my awareness lead to worship. Amen.
